
Name, Image and Likeness Updated Rules for the NCAA
The NCAA now allows student athletes to take advantage of NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) opportunities without affecting their eligibility to play sports, as long as that activity falls within certain guidelines.

Maryland’s NIL Law - The Jordan McNair Safe and Fair Play Act
No institution of public higher education in Maryland may uphold any rule that prevents a student athlete from earning compensation from the use of their name, image and likeness (NIL). Effective July 1, 2023
