Complete 10 of the above courses before your senior year (or before your 7th semester in high school) You cannot repeat or replace any of these courses to increase your G.P.A. Get an overall 2.3 G.P.A, at least, in these core courses. You must get an SAT or ACT score that matches your core-course G.P.A., according to the DI sliding scale, and be certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
In addition to meeting NCAA eligibility requirements, you must also meet the academic standards of the school in order to be admitted and to maintain your scholarship status.
Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (CIAA)
Offers opportunities in Division II sports. DII colleges can offer a combination of athletic, needs-based and academic awards, in the form of partial scholarships and perhaps full scholarships.
Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC)
A Division I conference that has well-known and academically successful colleges, two colleges (Florida A&M and North Carolina A&T) are moving to new conferences soon.
